Meet the Founder
Vela Mar Consulting was founded by Ruth N. Solis, a skincare and haircare industry professional with over eight years of experience in sales, account management, and product development support within the private label beauty space.
Before launching Vela Mar Consulting, Ruth supported established and emerging brands through key stages of the product development process, including formulation goals, pricing, timelines, approvals, vendor communication, packaging coordination, and production planning. Her background includes experience supporting recognizable beauty brands, including Brazilian Blowout, along with growing brands across the skincare and haircare space.
Ruth’s approach is thoughtful, organized, and hands-on. She understands how overwhelming the development process can feel for founders, especially when managing product ideas, vendors, packaging, timelines, and launch decisions all at once. Through Vela Mar Consulting, her goal is to bring clarity, structure, and calm guidance to each step so brands feel more supported, informed, and confident as they move their vision forward.
